EditorialFred CravenSpring is bouncing all around. Our trees, which were formerly twigs, are providing shade again, and my dog is playing with baby blue jays that have fallen from said trees (he's only trying to play). After a couple years of "dought" we again seem to have water, and the tornado season hasn't provided much excitement yet. At Prairie Trail Software, the "trail" is rarely muddy, but sometimes it gets a lot of traffic. That traffic is always a welcome thing, but it can be annoying. For months we talked about what we wanted to do with our web site, we came up with a plan, but then became to busy to work on it. Funny thing: customers come first—before the web site. But now it's done...or so I thought when Dave called me about an entire section... I thought I had uploaded that—It's there now, and if you Like you can visit it at http://www.prairietrail.com. In this issue of Tech Topics we have a plethora of topics from which to choose. Dave starts us out with his look into the near future of the terminal market. Next, our newest programmer, Leonard James, gives us a quick overview of the new Omni 3300 Developement environment. It's proving to be quite interesting, but we'll save the details for future articles. LeonardJameshas been prgamming for over 35 years, and has experience in the chemical, petroleum, and computer industries. Leonard is our lead 3300 developer. Finally we have some sample code for the Omni 3200. So take your pick, Dave's look at the future (and a rational for Tranz terminals) Omni 3200 code, or an introduction to the Omni 3300.
